Kylian Mbappe: Real Madrid or Man United after leaving PSG?

PARIS – Kylian Mbappe is certainly the most popular player to be focused in the football transfer window this summer.

The French superstar is shaking the market after the breaking news that he will not extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain next summer.

The 24-year-old striker’s shocking decision forced the Ligue 1 giant club to put him on sale within these two months, or they will get nothing when he becomes a free agent in June 2024.

Mbappe had several rumours with Real Madrid in the last two years, it has been widely known that the Spanish powerhouse had a huge favour on the young man, but he chose to stay at his nation’s capital.

Pursue for European champion and Ballon d’Or

The reason that Kylian Mbappe decided not to continue to serve PSG is mainly his vision to become the best football player in this era.

The current captain of team France helped Les Bleus to hail the golden trophy in the FIFA World Cup 2018 with his brilliant ability and unlimited potential.

He then led the defending champion to march into the final in the World Cup 2022 at Qatar last winter, lost to Argentina after the penalties although he performed a hat-trick and earned the Golden Boot.

Considered the greatest player-to-be in this decade after the ending of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s era, Mbappe seeks the highest glory in both clubs and individual achievement.

However, he doesn’t see a promising future in PSG, which is probably uncompetitive in the European event, compared to other giants like Real Madrid and Manchester City, especially when Messi left to join Miami Inter in the USA.

To stand on the top of European clubs’ tournaments and earn himself Ballon d’Or, the biggest individual award for a football player, Mbappe realised that he should leave the Ligue 1 to join other major leagues with higher standards.

Conflict between PSG and Madrid

The best option and the only favourite of Kylian Mbappe’s next stop is Real Madrid.

The 14 times winner of UEFA Champions League will certainly give the Frenchman a bright opportunity to collect his first European club title.

However, the serious issue is that PSG are reluctant to send their best man to the La Liga giant, as they had a conflict caused by Mbappe’s rumour in past seasons.

Sources reported that Paris Saint Germain is price tagging the superstar as much as 150 million Euros, but the offer is excluding Madrid, although the latter is willing to pay 200 millions.

This situation creates chances for other clubs to pursue the top class attacker, but considering the financial power and squad strength, there are only a few giants from the English Premier League who can afford to own this precious man.

Qataris’ present for Man United?

Manchester City are highly unlikely to sign Mbappe, as the new Treble winner are having a full power squad, including Erling Haaland, who is another superstar nowadays.

Chelsea could pay the sky high transfer fees and salary, but the Frenchman probably won’t join a club which is absent from the European competition in the coming season.

This gives Manchester United the better choice for Mbappe instead of Real Madrid.

The Red Devils can’t afford to own Mbappe according to their current resources, but this could change if the Qatar corporate takes over the club this summer.

Sheikh Jassim is claimed to own the English giant within June, having enormous funds to support United’s signings in this transfer window.

Kylian Mbappe could be the Qataris’ greatest gift after they successfully replaced the Glazers family, as their first step to rebuild the Red Devils’ emperor.
