Winter Transfer Window: Gakpo, Enzo, Bellingham and Gvardiol

The football transfer window has opened this winter, where every giant club is hunting for top players to strengthen their squad.

The transfer market is going to be more exciting and intense, as many players, especially the young stars who have risen to fame in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Among those valuable players, some already signed by the other teams, some are competing between clubs to own them.

To sign a top class player, a club not just needs strong financial power, but also has a promising future, including the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League.

Gakpo Joins Liverpool

Liverpool announced that they had completed a deal with a famous star in the beginning of this winter’s transfer window, by signing Cody Gakpo from Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven.

The runner-up of the English Premier League last season quickly made the trade after the Qatar World Cup finished, which was considered a successful deal.

The 23 years old striker had a great performance during his service in the Dutch club, while he scored three goals in the Qatar tournament, to help Netherlands qualify into the quarter finals.

Both clubs didn’t reveal the transfer fees, but sources said that it was a total of 50 millions Pounds.

Bellingham: The Future of England

Jude Bellingham is a name who is often mentioned in the transfer market.

The 19 years old youngster had made his reputation in Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund two years ago, and increased his value after an outstanding performance in the World Cup 2022.

The talented midfielder who is expected to be England’s future playmaker or leader, has been evaluated as high as 110 millions Euros according to Transfermarkt.

Several European giant clubs had shown their huge interests to Bellingham, including Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Enzo Fernandez: The World Cup Winner

Enzo is the most successful young player in the World Cup Qatar 2022.

The 21 years old midfielder has made a great contribution to help Argentina win the golden trophy, and received the Young Player Award after the victory in the final.

Serving Portuguese club Benfica, the South American is now a hot candidate in this transfer window, invited by a few powerful clubs from the EPL and Spanish LaLiga.

Enzo’s value is now rising to 55M Euros, while Paris Saint Germain from French Ligue1 and Chelsea are willing to pay more than 100M to have him.

Gvardiol: The Rising Defender

Josko Gvardiol is a defender who got famous in the Qatar event this winter.

The 20 years old centre-back who helped Croatia to win the third place, is well known for his great defence including quick response, fast speed, strong physical and accurate judgement.

The youngster from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig is having interests from Real Madrid and Chelsea. His value is now over 100M Euros, but that won’t stop those giants from purchasing this solid guard.
